It might be scary to actually count all the nappies you’ve used all through your baby’s growth. Multiply that with two or three or four kids and the amount is indescribable. It makes sense now why parents would like to potty train their children as soon as possible. It makes even more sense now why disposable nappies are sought after, due to their user-friendliness.
Are you aware of the fact that approximately 5,000 nappies are used before a baby is properly potty trained? And are you aware of the fact that it takes two hundred years for a nappy to degrade? And has it ever occurred to you that if all of the babies were to use disposable nappies, it would take a total of one million years before all of those nappies can be disposed!
